Andy Boubel

Andy Boubel is originally from Glenview Illinois – a town 20 miles north of Chicago. Growing up, Andy was exposed to the construction industry in a big way. At age 10 he watched his parents contract the construction of a new 2,500 square foot home on a lot they purchased for $16,000.00. At 18 he started in the building trades as a brick layer and later worked for a home builder doing residential remodels. After 10 years of being in the construction industry, Andy decided to pursue his life long dream of becoming an Architect and started his studies at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). During his time in school Andy apprenticed with his studio professor David Hovey of Optima Inc. working on a 50 acre multi-family housing project in Deerfield Illinois – all hand drawn! Five years after relocating to Phoenix, Andy started his own architectural firm “Desert Ridge Design Architects.” Over a span of 12 years he successfully completed hundreds of commercial and residential projects with one of his homes being showcased in Phoenix Home and Garden. In addition to design, Andy has been involved in architectural forensic analysis and has testified in construction defect cases as an expert witness.

Andy began his career as a Realtor in 2010 in one of the toughest markets in recent times. Cast into a sea of foreclosures and short sales, Andy successfully completed 5 transactions in his first 4 months of becoming a Realtor.

Andy has been able to transfer and apply his skill set as an Architect seamlessly into real estate. His vast knowledge of construction affords him the ability above all other Agents to systematically scrutinize opportunities for his clients whether they be investors or first time home buyers.

Before you hire your Realtor to represent you in your next purchase or sale, you owe it to yourself to interview Andy for the job!
